My experience in clinical trials has significantly enriched my clinical knowledge and everyday practice in dealing with the most severe psychiatric conditions. Invaluable is also the continuous collaboration with colleagues who view this additional work as a challenge in applying innovative therapeutic treatments. As mental health professionals, we strive to be advocates for understanding, compassion, and innovation in the treatment of these complex conditions, and to stand up for those whose voices are still silenced by stigma and fear.
